KwikLynx is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) founded by experienced telecom experts Hal Schaefer & David Randall. They are proud to offer their customers Faster Speeds at Less Cost than Optimum.  Hal is currently the Sr VP of broadband consulting at Watson Wireless in Wilton, CT.   Dave is an experienced wiring technician, and owner of a deluxe home construction company headquartered in Connecticut.

Like a lot of subscribers in the NYC metro area they were disgusted with Optimum as their Internet provider. They agreed the service was unreliable (need to reboot too often, 10 mins to speak to an actual service rep), and way too expensive for what amounted to a 4th Generation network that provided a maximum of only 300Mbps to the majority of their customers. They were also sick & tired of their loyalty being rewarded with price increases. After enough bitching & moaning they decided to do something about it……they decided to establish their own ISP with a simple objective: provide an Internet with Faster Speeds at Less Cost.

So, after they “cut the cord” (suddenly Optimum was very friendly. Don’t fall for that!) they arranged to bring 1Gbps of Fiber to their homes for a modest amount, and voila! KwikLynx was born. They were able to enjoy Gigabit speeds at Megabit prices. Fast forward to today and the company now brings that same 1Gig to a number of underserved buildings in the NYC metro area so residents can enjoy more reliable, faster, and less expensive Internet. Not only that, but the company has so much confidence in their product they decided there would be no contracts to sign, and absolutely no hidden fees. Furthermore, customers are able to access a sophisticated buy-flow admin system on their phone in order to Activate, Manage, & Monitor their services. It doesn’t get any better than this!
